What types of mountain bikes do you offer for rent?

Our electric mountain bikes (eMTBs) are custom-built for Gozo’s terrain. Each features a powerful mid-drive motor with torque sensor, hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension with long travel, and high-grip off-road tires. You’ll also find a USB port, a phone holder, and a long-range battery designed to easily last a full day of riding.

How much does it cost to rent a mountain bike, and what's included?

Daily rates start at €29. Rentals include roadside assistance, a helmet, bike lights, battery key, and a secure chain lock. The longer you rent, the better the value, as multi-day rentals are discounted.

Where can I pick up and return the bike?

You can choose to pick up your bike at either of our main locations in Victoria or the Mgarr Ferry Terminal during the booking process. Once you pick a location, the bike must be returned to the same location as pick-up. If you need delivery or pick-up at trailheads, let us know in advance. It’s available for an extra fee and subject to availability.

Do I need to reserve in advance?

We recommend it. While we do accept walk-ins, reserving online guarantees your preferred bike size is available at the location you chose, especially during weekends and holiday periods. It also speeds up the process when you arrive.

Are there age or skill level restrictions for renting an eMTB?

Riders must be at least 16 years old. If a rider is under 16, they must be accompanied by a legal guardian who assumes full responsibility.

We welcome all skill levels, but eMTBs are powerful. If you’re new to mountain biking or unsure about trails, consider joining a guided tour or ask us for a route recommendation.

What safety guidelines should I follow while riding?

Our mantra is Safety First.

Always wear your helmet (included with the rental)
Use lights in low visibility or after sunset
Follow local traffic laws and trail signs
Ride responsibly and within your limits
Avoid using the bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs

How are the bikes maintained between rentals?

Each bike is carefully inspected and serviced at the end of every rental. Batteries are provided fully charged at the start of each rental. We also follow a full maintenance calendar with daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checkpoints. If something happens during your ride, contact us on WhatsApp and one of our team members will be happy to help.

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?

Yes. Cancellations are fully refundable at least 48 hours before the rental start time. Later than that, we cannot issue a refund. No-shows are not refundable. To cancel, please contact us via WhatsApp or email and our team will assist.

When will my refund or deposit be released?

If eligible, your refund will be processed by our payment provider within at least 7 business days from the cancellation confirmation. This timeline is also valid for the release of the €1 deposit, which is pre-authorized (not charged) and automatically released if no damage is reported after your return.

Delays may occur depending on your card provider, but this process does not require any action from you unless we contact you for a specific reason.
